Mediation and Coaching
The Gibbons review heralded a move away from a purely procedural approach to dispute resolution in the workplace. This seminar will take you through an analysis of the mediation process with practical hints and tips for improving communication in the workplace. We will then go on to review the application of coaching skills in the employment context. We will include a section on practical coaching skills where we will invite audience participation, giving delegates the opportunity to share their own experiences.

Speakers
As well as a Partner and Chairman of Shepherd and Wedderburn, Hugh Donald is a trained and accredited mediator. He is associated with the leading mediation agency in Scotland, acting as mediator in commercial disputes and coaching on their training courses for prospective mediators.
Ann Campbell is the Managing Director of Garth Associates, a leading Organisational Development consultancy in Scotland which was established in 2001. Her career has spanned Human Resource and General Management in the UK and the USA, often working in pivotal roles during times of major organisational change and restructuring. Specialising in the areas of leadership and management development, Ann has established a reputation as an innovative, professional coach and facilitator.
