Managing our Waste - the Scottish Perspective
This seminar will provide an update on regulatory and policy issues governing existing waste management operations and consider the opportunities and challenges presented by the need to deliver significant new waste management capacity in Scotland.
We have three external speakers who will be discussing and sharing their knowledge of the Scottish waste sector including regulatory and policy issues; the current Scottish position on waste including drivers for change and market issues; and an overview of previous, current and future waste projects, including the highlighting of issues relating to future delivery and the potential role of the Scottish Futures Trust in the waste sector.
The topics being covered by our external speakers will be supplemented by discussion by two internal Shepherd and Wedderburn LLP speakers who will be covering the planning, procurement and construction issues relating to new waste infrastructure.
