What has happened in the world of intellectual property in the last year?
In the last 12 months we have seen new cases, new legislation and more tinkering with policy in the areas touched by intellectual property law. The software patents debate has gone from the open warfare of Aerotel to sporadic guerrilla skirmishes between the courts and the UK IPO. The London Agreement was fully ratified and the impact of the Gowers report, with fast track procedures, is now being seen
