Outsourcing: Current Legal Trends

The negotiation of outsourcing arrangements continues to present a range of challenges for lawyers, business and procurement teams.
This seminar will provide an overview of the key legal issues encountered in negotiating and drafting IT and business process outsourcing arrangements, looking at these issues from both the customer's and supplier's viewpoint. This session will examine some of the common themes that arise including putting in place practical performance monitoring mechanisms, issues surrounding negotiation of risk transfer, contractual liability, data protection and other regulatory considerations such as the new FSA outsourcing rules.
We will also examine employment issues and how clients and service providers are dealing with the impact of the 2006 TUPE regulations.
Please note - the original date advertised for this seminar was Tuesday 6 May. Due to unforeseen circumstances this date was cancelled and rescheduled to Tuesday 20 May.
Audience
Business executives, in-house legal advisers, procurement and sourcing professionals, contract and commercial managers, logistics managers, IT directors and any other industry professionals who are involved in outsourcing projects.
