We have developed a market-leading practice in the waste and resource management sector with extensive technical knowledge and cross-border expertise accumulated from our involvement in major projects in the UK over the last five years. Our waste and resource management team offers our clients up-to-date, industry aware knowledge of the issues relevant both to the public and the private sector as they seek solutions that meet their regulatory obligations.
Our lawyers advise on all aspects of waste and resource management activities, including procuring, consenting, constructing and financing new infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions in the sector, regulation of activities, regulatory compliance and enforcement.
As businesses diversify and compete for renewable energy opportunities, our experience in the mainstream waste and resource management sector can also prove invaluable in areas such as environmental consenting and large-scale regeneration schemes. We offer clients practical and commercial advice across a broad range of legal disciplines including corporate, environmental, finance, planning, construction, projects, property, and public sector.
We have used Shepherd and Wedderburn for a number of years for large projects, corporate and property work. They provide focused and commercially oriented advice on a par with the best City of London firms. Value for money is exceptional and client care paramount. I would not hesitate in recommending them.
