Blair has significant experience of advising UK and US private equity firms on employment matters and of acting in high value employment litigation for clients in the investment banking sector. He also advises clients in the online retail, food and drink manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, medical technology, education, IT and life sciences sectors. He regularly advises on corporate transactions involving TUPE, employment tribunal claims, High Court action to enforce restrictive covenants, tactical and legal issues involved in the departure of directors and other senior employees, trade union recognition and collective bargaining, insolvency-related employment issues and day-to-day matters such as grievances, discipline, absences from work, family-related rights and contractual documentation.
