Shepherd and Wedderburn shortlisted for European Marketing Award
Shepherd and Wedderburn is once again the only Scottish finalist for a 'Best Marketing Campaign' Award from the Managing Partners' Forum in their 2006 European Practice Management Awards.
Shepherd and Wedderburn is in good company with some of the UK leading business to business brands also being shortlisted in the same category - Berwin Leighton Paisner, Clifford Chance, Deloitte and Ernst & Young.
The Awards recognise the achievements of the professional services industry's 'unsung heroes' in marketing, technology, HR, finance and facilities, and are open to any professional firm operating in Europe.
The campaign which won Shepherd and Wedderburn its place on the shortlist is entitled 'don't stand still'. Run by the firm in 2005/6, it achieved an astounding 58 per cent click through rate to the firm's website. It has made a real impact on the firm and the market in terms of the creativity of marketing and business development activity, strategic approach and added value that can be created by marketing of professional services firms.
Patrick Andrews, Shepherd and Wedderburn's Chief Executive said: "don't stand still proved that professionals can be creative, and that serious messages can be communicated with humour. Our marketing team takes a brave approach to the marketing of our firm and they deserve to win these awards."
In post-campaign feedback, one client said that the campaign "showed that solicitors are not 'stuffy' and have a sense of humour", while others commented on the interest and relevance of the legal information that it communicated.
TBWA created the six-part interactive campaign for Shepherd and Wedderburn.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on 3 October.
