Shepherd and Wedderburn promotes Property partner
Karen Shaw, a property lawyer with Shepherd and Wedderburn, has been promoted to partner in the firm’s Property Division.
Karen, who has worked at Shepherd and Wedderburn for seven years, has extensive expertise in property and commercial contracts and has been advising a range of clients on renewable energy projects for several years. Karen’s promotion increases the property partner team in Glasgow to four.
Shepherd and Wedderburn has a broad client base that stretches across a range of industries including: energy, telecoms, education, transport and manufacturing. Clients that Karen has acted for include ScottishPower, Thus, Thomas Cook and HSBC.
Shepherd and Wedderburn has a substantial commercial property division with 13 partners and a further 31 qualified lawyers. That practice is supported by specialist teams providing advice on planning, construction, finance and litigation.
Shepherd and Wedderburn Chief Executive, Patrick Andrews, commented: “We are delighted to announce Karen’s promotion. She is a valuable asset to the firm and will add to the firmly established senior management team delivering innovative solutions to clients across a wide range of sectors”.
