Colin Innes wins prestigious planning award
Colin Innes of leading law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn has been voted the highest rated planning solicitor in Scotland for the third year running in The Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Planning Awards.
Colin Innes, who has been a partner with Shepherd and Wedderburn for 6 years, is an accredited planning specialist and legal associate of the RTPI. He advises on all aspects of planning and environmental law and has extensive planning inquiry experience through a wide range of projects including: housing, retail, leisure, energy, telecoms and infrastructure.
The rankings are based on a survey of leading planning lawyers and consultants in Scotland. The awards recognise the diversity of planning achievement, whether in urban or rural areas, a new development or regeneration and whether promoted by the public, private or community sectors.
Shepherd and Wedderburn has a substantial and successful planning and environmental team who are experienced in all aspects of planning development and regeneration. Colin commented: "This award is more about recognition for the team and our commitment to working closely with clients to deliver what is required."
