Shepherd and Wedderburn wins place on the London Development Agency panel
Leading law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn has beaten off stiff competition from a number of top City law firms to win an appointment on the panel of legal advisors for the London Development Agency (LDA).
The firm is one of only five new law firms to join the panel, following the LDA’s recent review of its roster of external lawyers, which saw the panel reduced from 18 firms to eight.
Shepherd and Wedderburn was selected from a list of over 200 applicants, many of which included a number of key players in the City.
Patrick Andrews, Chief Executive of Shepherd and Wedderburn, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be among the few new firms appointed to the panel, particularly when we were up against such strong competitors. This affirms our credentials as a leading UK firm and is a great endorsement of our expertise. We very much look forward to working with LDA on some exciting projects in the coming months.”
Shepherd and Wedderburn joins Ashfords, Burges Salmon, Herbert Smith, Lovells, DLA Piper, Eversheds and Stephenson Harwood on the panel.
