Shepherd and Wedderburn Advises HSBC on $50million Credit Facility for Subsea 7
The Aberdeen-based banking team at law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn has acted for HSBC Bank plc in the provision of a $50million multicurrency revolving credit facility to Subsea 7, one of the world’s leading subsea engineering and construction companies.
The team was headed by banking partners Helen Dickson and Gordon Hay. Gordon said: “This is a significant transaction for the firm and HSBC, both in terms of its value and the provision of this facility in the current market, and it highlights our team’s strength in both service sector and upstream oil and gas financing.”
The banking team was supported by Shepherd and Wedderburn’s property and construction divisions.
