Shepherd and Wedderburn in Trump deal
Leading UK law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn has played a central role in the deal which will see a further two championship-standard golf courses added to the north east of Scotland's already impressive roster.
The firm acted on behalf of the US-based owner of the Menie Sporting Estate, which has just been acquired by legendary US entrepreneur Donald Trump's company Trump International. The land is located at Balmedie on the northern outskirts of the city.
Shepherd and Wedderburn partner Richard Cockburn, who heads up the firm's Aberdeen office, commented: "Our growing Aberdeen office has been involved in a number of interesting deals recently and this latest one will help us to build on the reputation we have already established in the local market."
