Investors Show Trust in Commercial Property
CBRE Investors has completed the £18.5 million acquisition of 25-35 Castle Street and 98-102 George Street, Edinburgh.
Shepherd and Wedderburn and DTZ represented CBRE Investors in the deal, one of the largest this year, which was completed on 17 September. 25-35 Castle Street and 98-102 George Street is one of Edinburgh's most prominent buildings, and is a high quality mixed use investment site of retail, restaurant and office space housing a range of high street names such as Cruise, The Pier and Pink.
Michael Henderson, a property partner at Shepherd and Wedderburn said: “This is an important deal, completed in a short timescale. It is one of the largest acquisitions in Edinburgh this year, which is significant given the unsettled market conditions and demonstrates confidence in well-let investments.
“The firm's involvement in this important city centre property deal further highlights Shepherd and Wedderburn's expertise in advising on some of the capital's most significant deals.”
