Gearing up for Growth in London

Due to the continuing success and expansion of its London practice, UK law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn is moving to new premises at Condor House, 10 St. Paul's Churchyard, on 29 January 2007.  The new premises more than double the size of its existing office space in London.

Patrick Andrews, chief executive of Shepherd and Wedderburn, comments: "This move to larger premises reflects the success and achievements of our London office to date, and the tremendous support that we have had from our clients.  In particular, the success of our property, corporate, technology and tax practices has resulted in better than expected growth, necessitating the need for greater office space.  The new premises will enable us to continue the rate of growth of our London operation."

The London move crowns the end of a strong 2006 for Shepherd and Wedderburn, which has seen the firm:

  • represent FTSE 100 client Cairn Energy in the US$ 6.3 billion Indian IPO of its subsidiary Cairn India Limited
  • act in the £2.5 billion Alliance Trust merger
