Art Exhibition
Leading UK law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn is sponsoring Cancer Research UK Scotland's annual art exhibition and sale of paintings & crafts to raise money for the charity in Edinburgh next week. The exhibition runs from 20 November 2006 and is open to the public from 10.30am on Tuesday 21 November until Saturday 25 November at 2pm.
800 visitors are expected to attend the exhibition at Adam House (Chamber Street, Edinburgh) where over 1,600 paintings, of different styles and varying prices, will be displayed over three floors in order of the artist's surname, with a craft display on the ground floor.
Paintings by Edinburgh-born artist, Jamie Primrose, will also feature in the exhibition. Jamie is one of Scotland’s rising stars in the art world – with a year-long waiting list for commissions.
Malcolm Rust, a partner with Shepherd and Wedderburn said: “We are delighted to be involved with such a worthwhile cause and hope that the event attracts both significant numbers of visitors and sales to raise money for Cancer Research UK Scotland."
