Commended for Arts & Business Sponsorship

Leading UK law firm, Shepherd and Wedderburn is celebrating being commended in the ‘Arts and Brand Identity’ category at last night’s Arts & Business awards ceremony in Edinburgh (11 October 2006).

The commendation in the effective use of sponsorship to reinforce brand identity category was for Shepherd and Wedderburn’s work in partnership with the Citizens’ Theatre. The firm supported the 2005 ‘A Citizens' Audience with…’.  The series was a sell-out, featuring among others George Galloway, John Sergeant and Barry Norman.

This recognition follows hard on the heels of the firm’s award win at the 2006 European Practice Management Awards for the ‘Best Marketing Campaign’ for its ‘don’t stand still’ campaign.

Patrick Andrews, Shepherd and Wedderburn’s chief executive said:  “Our partnership with the Citizens’ Theatre has been a great success and the shows were extremely popular with our clients.”

Shepherd and Wedderburn has reaffirmed its commitment to the Theatre by signing up to a further two-year sponsorship.
