Bilfinger Berger Project Investments Limited

Acted for a consortium led by international construction and services group Bilfinger Berger in a £380 million financing to deliver the Design Build Finance Operate (DBFO) project for the M80 Stepps to Haggs.

Cattles plc

Providing Scottish legal advice to the financial services group Cattles plc and subsidiary companies in relation to their high profile debt restructuring.

Clydesdale Bank Plc

Acted as Scottish legal advised on a £10 billion securitisation involving the establishment of a buy-to-let residential mortgage backed note programme by Lannaraig Master Issuer Plc and the issuance of £670 million and £159 million of notes under the programme.

Deloitte LLP

Advised Deloitte as administrators of Mathiesons Bakeries, including the sale of the business and assets.

Ernst & Young

Advised Ernst & Young as the receivers of Inveresk plc, in respect of a sale of the business and assets of the company.

Global Infrastructure Partners

Advised Global Infrastructure Partners, a leading global infrastructure fund in relation to Real Estate, Planning and Finance aspects of their acquisition from British Airways Authority of Edinburgh Airport for £807.2 million.

Infinis Plc

Acted for Infinis plc (a Terra Firma company) in the £173.6 million project financing, which took place simultaneously with the purchase of the Minsca, Dalswinton and Slieve Divena windfarms.

Advised KPMG as administrators of the RB Farquhar group.

Advised KPMG as the liquidators of St Margarets School, Edinburgh.

Lloyds Banking Group and BNP Paribas

Advising the lenders, Lloyds Banking Group and BNP Paribas, on the provision of facilities to Faroe Petroleum Plc by means of a US$250 million reserve based facility and an NOK1 billion exploration finance facility.

Miller Group

Acted as legal advisers to the Trustees of the Miller Group Limited Pension Scheme in relation the restructuring of the Miller Group. The equity and debt restructuring involved a significant equity investment by GSO Capital Partners, part of the Blackstone group, and a refinancing of the Miller Group’s senior debt facilities.
